What is the opportunity?

The Benefit Payment Operations team has an opportunity for a Senior Administrator who will report to the Director and act as a subject matter expert to Benefit Payment Administrators and other business units as required.
In this role, the Senior Administrator processes complex transactions, provides technical expertise, supports continuous improvement, projects and training. You will have the opportunity to influence outcomes and help the organization evolve

What will you do?

  • Handle or support complex transactions or files including but not limited to the following:

    Wire payments, lump sum payments, stop payments, reissues, recalls, garnishments, reversals, exemption requests, overpayment letters, journals

    Year to date adjustments and year end activities

    Reconciliation and remittance of funds.

  • Support the clearing of outstanding breaks.

  • Provide direction to BenPay Operations team as required on complex matters.

  • Lead or assist with continuous improvement, projects and testing as required.

  • Lead or assist with issue investigation and resolution.

  • Lead or support training, cross training and documentation.

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have

  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience (preferably in Pensions/ Benefit Payment System and Operations)

  • Strong collaboration, organizational and time management skills

  • Excellent knowledge of MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Superior communication skills – written and oral

  • Client focus and ability to meet deadlines

Nice to Have

  • Ability to interpret written client instructions and perform data entry

  • Experience working on projects

  • Investigation and Issue resolution

  • Process documentation and training

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to candidate's experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals, market conditions, and business needs.

Pay Range

The expected pay range for this position is:

$55,000.00 - $90,000.00

The pay range provided is for the primary work location referenced in the Additional Job Details section of this job posting. Pay ranges may differ based on location.
