Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Office Administrator role based in Surrey, BC. The Office Administrator will manage day-to-day office operations, including handling phone calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries, as well as greeting visitors and directing them appropriately. Responsibilities include organizing and maintaining paper and digital records, preparing and filing documents, and ensuring office supplies and equipment are monitored and replenished. The role will support scheduling, data entry, basic reporting, and coordination between office staff, field teams, vendors, and customers. The Office Administrator will also assist with invoicing support, document tracking, and general administrative tasks to keep workflows efficient and organized. Qualifications - Strong Office Administration and Administrative Assistance skills to manage daily office operations and support multiple team members. - Experience using and maintaining basic Office Equipment (e.g., printers, scanners, phones, computers) and comfort with common office software. - Effective Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and professional telephone and email etiquette. - Customer Service skills to interact respectfully and helpfully with clients, visitors, and external partners. - High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary training in business administration or a related field is an asset. - Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and handle interruptions in a fast-paced environment. - Proficiency with MS Office or similar tools; experience with scheduling or basic accounting software is an advantage. - Previous experience in construction, trades, or a similar office environment is considered an asset.
