About this role

We are recruiting for an Accounts Receivable Administrator to join the Finance & Accounting team at our Burnaby head office.

This position reports to the Manager, Accounting with day-to-day direction from the Accounts Receivable Team Lead.

Here's how your role will strengthen our team.

Your responsibilities

  • Data entry into ERP system
  • Record daily deposits
  • Follow up with customers regarding cash receipts, credits, over/under payments, and overdue invoices
  • Assist Project managers, Service Coordinators, and Customers with AR related inquiries
  • Send customer statements monthly
  • Assist with credit card fee allocations
  • Follow up with customers to ensure correct contact details in our system
  • Assist with other Accounts Receivable functions as necessary

Your experience and skills

  • High School Diploma. Post-secondary education in Accounting or related field an asset
  • 1 year of experience in a similar position or any entry level finance/accounting position an asset
  • Strong proficiency using MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Detail-oriented
  • Customer-service driven
  • Able to work as a member of a team
  • Experience in construction industry accounting, or credit training an asset
