Vancouver Coastal Health is looking for a Health Care Food Services Supervisor to join the Food Services team working out of Richmond Hospital in Richmond BC. The successful candidate will be self motivated and able to work both independently and in a team setting. They will also have a strong work ethic that allows them to oversee daily food services to ensure a safe and respectful environment for staff patients residents families and visitors.

As a Health Care Food Service Supervisor with VCH you will :

• Ensure diet orders are compliant and meet the provisions for nutritional care as determined by Clinical Nutrition for inpatients and outpatients using the nutrition software program.
• Be the liaison between Clinical Nutrition and Food Services visit patients to obtain diet related information regarding nutritional and therapeutic diet needs and in consultation with the Clinical Dietitian as required;

identify patient / resident food preference / food tolerance / food acceptance;
