PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Supervise, direct, control, improve, plan, coordinate, and direct the processing and inspection of wheels on all shifts to meet productivity objectives.
2. Plan, schedule and direct the wheel processing, inspection, and maintenance work to avoid operations delays.
3. Direct reports, and supporting services, to minimize production downtime and / or defective.
4. Responsible for all wheel finishing and inspection on shift to meet Company specifications.
5. Maintain safety and good housekeeping standards.
6. Schedule and coordinate personnel to meet manpower utilization objectives.
7. Develop and motivate a competent staff to assure an efficient and cost-effective operation.
8. Enforce the Company Rules & Regulations, follow complaint resolution to promote good working relationships with employees and fair and equitable solutions for the Company.
9. Ensure all reporting employees’ time is approved in a timely manner.
JOB KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
This position requires technical education or related discipline. 3-5 years of experience supervising in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with tooling, Quality Control (ideally prior wheel inspection), Safety, maintenance.
Excellent communication, leadership and organizational skills.
