Craft is Hiring: Office Coordinator

Hi there! I’m Chayan Olson, Senior Manager of Operations at Craft Public Relations, and I’m leading the search for our next Office Coordinator, as our current coordinator steps into an exciting new role on the team.

A little about me: I joined Craft just over four years ago as the team’s first-ever Office Manager, with the goal of helping this high-performing team run even better. It’s a fast-paced environment, and no two days in the office are the same, but getting to work with some of the most talented people in the industry makes it all worthwhile. I’m looking for an organized, resourceful team member to join our operations team and take ownership of many of the office’s day-to-day needs.

The Opportunity

As our Office Coordinator, you’ll play an important role in keeping Craft running smoothly. You’ll be the go-to person for ensuring our office is a welcoming, organized and efficient space, while providing day-to-day support that helps our team do their best work.

Responsibilities include:

• Administrative support - supporting the agency’s President, Managing Director and other senior leaders with calendar coordination, meeting preparation, record-keeping and occasional business-related errands
• Supply and inventory management - ordering and restocking office supplies, equipment and snacks
• Vendor and facility management - liaising with building management, IT support and other service providers to keep the office running smoothly
• Event and meeting coordination - assisting with the planning and execution of internal meetings and company events, including the annual Craft Summer Party and Craft Offsite
• Internal communication - developing and delivering office-wide communications that keep the team informed
• Client team support - pitching in on occasional client needs, including packing mailers, coordinating shipments and running event-related errands

• Safety conscious - you have Standard First Aid and CPR/A certification or are willing to obtain it

2. First round interview with Chayan Olson and Bianca Canakis, Current Office Coordinator (Bianca is transitioning into a new role at Craft) (60 mins)
3. Complete our Craft Assignment
4. Second round interview with Lisa Pasquin, President, and Proshat Nouri, Account Executive (60 mins)*
5. Reference checks
6. Offer

*We conduct initial conversations virtually, but look forward to hosting second-round interviews in-person at our office at 50 Carroll Street in Toronto’s east end.

Salary & Benefits

Office Coordinator Salary Range: $48,000 - $57,500

Location

• Our office is located in the East Room at 50 Carroll Street in Toronto. The Office Coordinator is expected to work full days in-office from Monday to Friday.
