We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Controller to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Senior Director of Finance, this role helps ensure BaAM’s financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. As Controller, you will partner closely with internal teams to support both internal operations and large‑scale sports and entertainment projects.

This position is a hybrid role, providing flexibility to work remotely 2–3 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations in partnership with the Accounting Manager, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, collections, payroll coordination, and general ledger activities.
• Drive accurate and timely completion of month‑end and year‑end close processes, ensuring compliance and integrity across all financial reporting.
• Champion robust internal controls and enforce adherence to accounting policies and financial best practices, safeguarding compliance and operational integrity.
• Facilitate annual financial audits by coordinating deliverables and ensuring seamless collaboration with internal teams and external auditors.
• Serve as a trusted financial advisor to project and departmental teams, providing expert guidance on processes, compliance, and accurate financial reporting.

Compensation

In compliance with Ontario’s Pay Transparency requirements, the expected salary range for this position is $110,000 to $130,000 CAD per year, based on skills, experience, and qualifications.

This role is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.
