Job description1-3 years' experience in a reception or administrative position. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required. Team player with strong communication and organizational skills, and the demonstrated ability to meet deadlines. Ability to work in fast paced environment with the ability to multi task, and effectively manage competing priorities. Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration or relevant safety program is considered an asset. Reliable transportation as location is not accessible by public transportation. Solid understanding and belief in the importance of safety in the workplace, and the demonstrated ability to do his / her part to ensure that safety takes precedence.
Position Description
We are hiring an Administrative Assistant. Responsibilities include :
- Compiling regular safety statistical data for QHSE department.
- Updating and maintaining e-registry accounts and any other data management systems as required.
- Maintaining up-to-date health and safety filing systems.
- Assisting with the compilation of HSE information for pre-qualification documents.
- Obtaining WCB clearances and statements when requested.
- Working with the QHSE Team to assist in maintaining and updating safety databases.
- Assisting with document control of Safety documents.
- Assembling and distributing monthly safety meeting packages.
- Coordinating safety department functions including travel arrangements, meetings, and processes.
- Updating and maintaining health and safety documents on corporate and shared computer drives.
- Acting in a professional and confidential manner at all times when dealing with sensitive employee and company information.
- Completing general administrative duties as required.
