Job description

Summary

Reporting to Document Control Supervisor, the Document Control Administrator is responsible for; effectively managing and administering the Company’s project controlled technical documentation in accordance with the company, customer and industry standards for projects, responsible for maintaining internal files for revision control for the Production floor. The individual in this position is expected to independently function in a busy environment involving both internal and external communications.

Our ideal candidate will have strong organizations skills and can prioritize and multi-task. They are an energetic team player with the ability to work with minimal supervision and has strong initiative and self-motivation.

This position is a 6-month Temporary Assignment.

With a foundation of integrity, the candidate would use commitment and creativity to drive our organization forward. This position is based out of Enerflex’s 47 St Southeast Calgary location.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties

  • Working closely with the Engineering teams to compile documentation required for project completion
  • Process shop fabrication drawings, ensuring revision control of drawings and appropriate filing
  • Delivering shop fabrication drawings to the shop floor
  • Compiling, creating and scanning of Production Project binders
  • Print and ship manuals in accordance with sold scope
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement
  • Support Document Controllers in the department with various administrative tasks
  • Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of document control experience
  • Familiarity with product manuals and record books is preferred
  • A strong team player who is excited to work with collaborative engineers, designers, project managers and production teammates
  • Willing to accommodate late in the day engineering transmittals through flexible hours
  • Familiarity with Adobe and Microsoft Office software is required. Familiarity with Bluebeam and Adept is considered an asset
  • Experience setting up projects in an EDMS
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required
