Controller to manage end-to-end financial operations with client in beverage manufacturing industry

Etobicoke - onsite 5 days a week, ideally

Must Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• 5-10 years in accounting or finance covering full-cycle operations
• Strong command of GAAP and core accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and financial modeling
• Experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage systems

Nice to Have

• CPA designation or current pursuit of CPA licensure
• Experience within startup or entrepreneurial organizations
• Exposure to multi-entity, multi-channel, or multi-currency environments
• Familiarity with ERP systems and financial reporting tools

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements across all channels
• Deliver timely reporting and analysis to the CEO
• Lead month-end and year-end close including journal entries and reconciliations
• Manage accounts payable and receivable functions end-to-end
• Drive budgeting and forecasting processes and oversee cash flow modeling
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and maintain internal controls
• Design and document scalable financial systems and workflows
