Responsibilities for Security Guard

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Document events and incidents by writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secured areas and verify visitor identification
• Analyze security systems to identify vulnerabilities or potential malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in the event of a serious situation or emergency
• Remain available and flexible to work on-call assignments, sometimes with minimal notice
• Be available for a variety of shifts, including daytime and overnight coverage

Qualifications for Security Guard

• • Legally authorized to work in Canada.

  • Valid security license.

  • Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle or reliable transportation.

  • First Aid/CPR certification (considered an asset).

  • Strong report writing skills and attention to detail.

  • Good vision and ability to stay focused and alert for extended periods.

  • Comfortable using technology and security-related tools/systems.
