Welcome, we're thrilled you are considering joining the highly skilled team at Kingston Regional Pet Hospital Learn More We are an after-hours emergency hospital located in Kingston, ON.

We are a mentoring team of DVMs and RVT's who encourage everyone to step outside of their comfort zone and learn new skills.

We are a fast paced environment dealing with emergencies in small animals.

Our team is supportive, easy going and enjoys light hearted times during the stressful ones.

Our ideal team member would be eager to learn, enjoy a fast pace of work while being able to multi-task and be superior in client communication skills. We are open overnight Mondays through Wednesdays and 24 hours starting Thursday evenings to Monday mornings and all holidays to serve the needs of the community.

Flexibility in schedule and a work-life balance are important to our.

About the Role Our ideal Client Care/Receptionist builds positive client relationships by displaying genuine care and compassion towards clients and their pets, being respectful in all interactions and providing exceptional customer service.

This involves greeting and checking-in clients in a friendly and warm manner; receiving incoming calls from current and prospective clients utilizing a courteous and caring approach.

This person will appropriately screen calls, book appointments, take detailed messages as well as provide knowledgeable non-medical information to clients.

Responsibilities also include performing a variety of administrative office tasks, including mail (receiving, sorting, distributing, posting), drafting memos and other correspondence, completing reports and other ad-hoc document requests.

Having 5 years of experience in client receptionist roles are preferred. Why Join VetCare?
