Through an understanding of our client’s business, we turn today’s talent into tomorrow’s success.Integrated Staffing is currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Account Receivable Administrator Professional for a contract assignment based in Saint John, NB. This is a 3–4 month opportunity ideal for someone who can quickly learn processes, support cross-functional accounting tasks, and assist in building clear and practical desk procedures and process manuals.This role is best suited for someone with strong accounting fundamentals, including a solid understanding of the general ledger and its relationship to sub-ledgers, and who enjoys improving processes and documenting workflows.Key Responsibilities
  • Support Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and payroll entry functions
  • Assist in the completion and reconciliation of AR and AP transactions in accordance with internal policies
  • Enter and verify payroll-related data and assist with payroll processing support
  • Reconcile customer and vendor accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely updates
  • Assist with journal entries and ensure proper coding to the general ledger
  • Understand and document how AR, AP, and payroll entries flow into the general ledger and sub-ledgers
  • Generate and maintain financial and operational reports as required
  • Work closely with accounting and payroll teams to gather information and clarify processes
  • Develop clear, structured process documentation and desk manuals for AR, AP, and payroll functions
  • Support continuous improvement of accounting workflows and internal controls
  • Other duties as assigned by the Finance team
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of accounting experience (AR, AP, and/or payroll exposure required)
  • Strong understanding of general ledger and sub-ledger relationships
  • Experience in process documentation or procedure writing is considered an asset
  • Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel
  • Experience with accounting systems or ERP software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
  • Professionalism when handling confidential financial information
  • Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate across departments
Requirements
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of accuracy and strong organizational skills
  • Comfortable learning new systems and processes quickly
  • Ability to translate processes into clear written documentation/manuals
  • Strong understanding of accounting workflows from transaction entry to reporting
  • Reliability and strong work ethic for a contract assignment
