Shipping Coordinator for a full-time permanent opportunity in Mississauga, ON.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and safety-focused individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and takes pride in ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient shipment of products. In this position, you will be responsible for coordinating incoming and outgoing orders, managing shipping documentation, supporting logistics processes, and ensuring all products meet quality and compliance standards before leaving the facility.
- Salary: $27.00 per hour

- Schedule: Monday to Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Responsibilities- Deliver incoming mail and parcels to the correct recipients based on package information
- Prepare, skid, and box out-of-town orders for chairs and furniture, ensuring proper documentation and labeling
- Consolidate skids to optimize shipping costs and trailer space efficiency
- Provide shipping quotes to the sales team, including skid weight, dimensions, and quantity
- Stage local installer orders one day prior to pickup and ensure all delivery tickets are signed upon release
- Inspect incoming orders for accuracy, quality, and quantity and report discrepancies to purchasing and customer service teams
- Use delivery tickets as packing slips and verify all items before shipment to ensure order completeness
- Communicate shortages to management and obtain approval prior to shipping incomplete orders
- Ensure all outbound orders are properly signed off by receiving parties for record-keeping
- Operate forklift equipment safely and complete daily inspection reports prior to use
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas and properly store equipment after use
- Communicate effectively with team members and participate in daily shipping and operations updates
- Monitor shipment schedules, email requests, and special handling instructions for urgent orders
- Support work-from-home order fulfillment and coordinate customer pickups as required
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety standards and PPE requirements at all times
Qualifications- Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada
- Valid forklift operator certification is required
- Strong familiarity with computer systems and email communication
- Experience with cross-border shipping documentation is required
- Ability to complete daily forklift inspection reports before equipment use
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to verify order accuracy and completeness
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse and logistics environment
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Comfortable following structured processes and safety protocols
- Ability to lift and move materials as required in a warehouse setting
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
