  • Prepare, review, and analyze consolidated financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and executive management reporting
  • Oversee financial mechanics for capital asset transactions, equipment rental fleets, inventory valuation, fixed assets, and parts/service accounting
  • Partner with the CFO on cash flow management, credit facilities, budgeting, forecasting, and key performance metric tracking
  • Serve as the functional lead for ERP systems, championing workflow automation, financial software improvements, and internal controls

  • Mentor, manage, and scale the internal accounting team, establishing performance benchmarks and supporting professional development

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive financial management experience, with proven success in a Controller or senior accounting leadership role
  • Strong industry background within heavy machinery, equipment rental/dealership, industrial distribution, or specialized manufacturing
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; a CPA, CMA, or MBA is strongly preferred
  • Deep expertise in financial reporting, internal controls, complex inventory management, and multi-location operations
  • Advanced proficiency with enterprise ERP platforms (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar) and MS Excel
  • Demonstrated leadership capability with a continuous-improvement mindset and excellent executive communication skills

Compensation

  • $125,000 - $165,000 annually, plus comprehensive health, medical, and dental benefits package
