We are hiring an experienced Controller to lead accounting operations for a fast-paced multi-entity business. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for financial reporting, month-end close, consolidated statements, internal controls, and leading a high-performing accounting team.

This opportunity is ideal for a CPA with strong technical accounting experience, leadership skills, and experience in manufacturing, distribution, wholesale, retail, or inventory-driven environments.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes across multiple entities
• Prepare consolidated financial statements, reporting packages, and variance analysis
• Oversee reconciliations, journal entries, intercompany transactions, and internal controls
• Support budgeting, forecasting, KPI reporting, and financial analysis
• Lead and mentor the accounting team while remaining hands-on in daily operations
• Support ERP implementation, accounting process improvements, and reporting automation
• Manage audit preparation, tax compliance, lender reporting, and payroll oversight
• Ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance, and continuous process improvement

Qualifications
• CPA designation required
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership experience in a Controller, Assistant Controller, or Accounting Manager role
• Strong experience with multi-entity accounting, consolidations, intercompany transactions, and financial reporting
• Experience managing month-end close, audits, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls
• ERP implementation or system upgrade experience preferred
• Strong Excel skills; Power BI, NetSuite, Sage 300, and ADP experience are assets
• Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, wholesale, retail, or inventory-heavy environments
