Job descriptionLead the month-end closing cycle, including the preparation of bank reconciliations and variance analysis to maintain high reporting standards. Execute weekly payroll processing for both office personnel and on-site CCQ employees. Oversee and process all government and statutory remittances, including CCQ, WSIB, WCB, RRSPs, and group insurance. Monitor and manage financial obligations specific to construction projects, such as building permits and mall deposits. Conduct thorough monthly reviews and validations of petty cash, corporate credit cards, and employee card reports. Actively support the implementation of new accounting systems while participating in ongoing troubleshooting, upgrades, and process improvements. 3–5 years of accounting experience, specifically within the construction industry Experience with construction-specific payroll and related remittances (CCQ) Bilingualism (French and English) Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and extensive experience operating within ERP environments. Communicate with English-speaking partners located outside of Quebec on a daily basis.
