Job description

Victoriaville & Co. | Ontario, Québec & Atlantic Canada
Field-based leadership role | Ideally based in the Greater Toronto or Greater Montreal area

Victoriaville & Co. is seeking an experienced, customer-focused sales leader to drive profitable growth across Eastern Canada. Reporting to executive leadership, the Regional Sales Director will lead and develop a team of up to six Account Managers while retaining direct responsibility for selected strategic accounts.

The Opportunity

This hands-on role combines regional sales leadership, coaching, key account management, customer engagement, and business development. The successful candidate will spend significant time in the field supporting Account Managers, meeting customers, advancing major opportunities, and representing Victoriaville & Co. throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a regional team of up to six Account Managers.
  • Set sales priorities and execute practical plans to achieve revenue, profitability, and market-share objectives.
  • Maintain direct ownership of selected strategic accounts and participate in major presentations, negotiations, and sales opportunities.
  • Build trusted relationships with funeral home owners, operators, purchasing groups, and industry stakeholders.
  • Identify new customers, partnerships, and market opportunities across Eastern Canada.
  • Monitor pipelines, forecasts, pricing execution, and regional performance using CRM and sales analytics tools.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, Product Development, and executive leadership to launch initiatives and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Represent the company at customer meetings, association activities, conventions, and industry events.

Qualifications

  • 7–10 years of progressive sales experience, including leadership responsibilities, or 10+ years of leadership experience in the funeral service industry.
  • Demonstrated success in revenue growth, team development, consultative selling, and strategic account management.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, business-planning, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic leadership with direct customer and selling activities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, CRM systems, and sales reporting tools.
  • Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel regularly throughout the region, up to 60%.

Preferred Assets

  • Experience in the funeral service industry and established relationships across Eastern Canada.
  • Bilingualism in English and French.
  • Experience with key accounts, purchasing groups, or multi-location customers.
  • Post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field; funeral service credentials are also valued.

Compensation & Benefits

Victoriaville & Co. offers a competitive base salary, annual performance bonus opportunity, company vehicle or allowance, group insurance plan, a retirement savings program, paid vacation and holidays, and professional development opportunities.
