Job description
Are you an Electrical Apprentice or Panel Builder looking for a role that offers variety, stability, and the chance to work on high-profile custom projects like NASA’s Artemis? We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our specialized manufacturing team in Scarborough. This isn't a repetitive assembly line; you will be building custom electrical panels and cooling systems from scratch in a supportive environment with high retention rates and a long-standing management team.

As a part of the Randstad community, we are committed to connecting skilled workers with premier employers. We promote an inclusive workplace and encourage applications from all qualified individuals.

Advantages
• Competitive pay: $24–$29/hr based on experience.
• Consistent Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (No travel required).
• Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits (80%–100% coverage).
• Financial security: RRSP matching program (3%–4%) and profit-sharing bonuses.
• Stability: Work for a company where retirees have 30+ years of service.
• Growth: Cross-functional training in different departments like test stands and assembly.
• Culture: Direct access to leadership and a supportive 90-day onboarding program.

Responsibilities
• Build electrical panels from scratch, including laying out backplates and mounting devices.
• Install electrical layouts based on custom, project-specific blueprints and schematics.
• Run electrical components through various industrial structures for custom chiller units.
• Assemble panels and install LED lighting, switches, transformers, and outlets.
• Maintain and test electrical equipment, including PLC components and high-voltage systems.
• Utilize shop tools to drill, tap, and mount components with high precision.
• Manage in-house inventory for upcoming projects and maintain records within the ERP software.
• Assist with preparing quotes by calculating material costs and ordering supplies.
• Liaise with ESA inspectors throughout the project lifecycle to ensure safety compliance.

Qualifications
• Previous experience in a custom project electrical environment or industrial HVAC.
• Open to registered Electrical Apprentices or experienced Unlicensed Panel Builders.
• Comfortable reading blueprints/schematics and installing to exact specifications.
• Highly self-accountable and able to respect tight timelines for high-profile clients.
• A 422a or 309a Electrician License is considered an asset but is not required.
• Ability to pass a technical schematic-reading test on-site during the interview.
• Must provide three professional references and clear a criminal record check.

Summary
If you are looking for long-term employment in a facility that builds world-class technology, we want to hear from you. Join a team in Scarborough where your attention to detail and technical skills will contribute to groundbreaking projects. Apply today to start your journey with a leader in custom manufacturing!
