Job description

Job Title: Purchasing Coordinator

Location: Port Coquitlam, BC

Type: Permanent

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-4:40PM, 5 days onsite

Salary: $57,000-$65,000 per year

Kelly Services is hiring Purchasing Coordinators on behalf of our client in Port Coquitlam, BC. This is a permanent full-time opportunity within a fast-paced supply chain environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Place, track, and follow up on purchase orders for parts and materials
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth order processing
  • Monitor shipment and delivery timelines; expedite orders when required
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure performance and on-time delivery
  • Process claims for shipment or invoice discrepancies and resolve issues with vendors
  • Maintain procurement and supplier performance reports
  • Support general administrative and procurement-related tasks

What You Bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain in wholesale, industrial, construction, or hardware is required
  • Experience in a high-volume SKU environment
  • Post-secondary education
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail
  • Experience working with ERP systems
  • Intermediate MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
