Salary : $74,498.00-$91,053.00 CAD annually

New or Existing Postion : Existing

Onsite / Remote : Onsite Position

Candidates applying for this position must be eligible to work in Canada.

Your Responsibilities

As a Tactical Buyer at John Deere Specialty Products, located in Langley, BC you will :

  • Purchasing orders, schedule releases and forecast distribution
  • Supplier coordination and expediting activities
  • Production, Quality and Accounting support and issue resolution
  • Data accuracy and ERP system maintenance
  • Continuous improvement projects as needed

What Skills You Need

  • 1-3 year experience in Purchasing and / or Inventory Control strongly preferred.
  • 1+ year experience with use of SAP MM, WM a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality and the environment.
  • The ability to think creatively and solve problems
  • The ability to work independently and to synergize a team
  • What Makes You Stand Out

  • Certifications from APICS (CPIM) not required, but desirable.
  • Ability to manipulate and analyze large datasets in Excel and / or Power Bl
  • Literate in other Office 365 applications
  • Education

    Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following :

  • A degree in Supply Management, Operations Management, Engineering or Accounting preferred
