Job description

It’s not a package. It’s a promise®.

As Canada’s leading integrated freight, package, and logistics provider, we’ve been helping promises get where they need to be for more than 60 years. How does the magic happen? The journey starts with you. The places we go, the elements we brave, the promises we deliver – it’s all possible because of our people. So, whether you’re looking to build new skills, make an impact in your community, or inspire your team, we go there for you.

Description

The Process Engineering Lead plays a key role in driving the evolution, implementation, and operationalization of enterprise visibility capabilities across the network.

This role sits at the intersection of Operations, product development, and cross-functional delivery, with a primary focus on advancing the Visibility Program roadmap, enabling new capabilities, and ensuring successful business integration.

The incumbent will lead end-to-end deployment activities, from early solutioning and pilot execution to national implementation and stabilization, while partnering closely with Operations and cross-functional teams to ensure solutions are scalable, practical, and aligned with business needs.

This role requires strong business acumen, an enterprise mindset, and the ability to influence and lead across multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced, transformation-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end integration and deployment of Visibility Program initiatives, including roadmap execution, pilot design, implementation, and stabilization
  • Partner with product, IT, and business teams to translate business needs into scalable operational solutions
  • Act as a bridge between design and Operations, ensuring solutions are practical, adoptable, and aligned with field realities
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to support deployment activities, including planning, readiness, training, communications, and performance tracking
  • Support the development and evolution of the Visibility Program roadmap, identifying opportunities to enhance capabilities and drive value
  • Ensure effective operationalization (“take-to-company”) of new tools, processes, and capabilities
  • Advocate for Operations by gathering field insights, identifying risks, and influencing solution design
  • Define and track success metrics, including adoption, utilization, and performance outcomes
Identify risks, gaps, and resistance points, and develop mitigation and reinforcement strategies
  • Support UAT cycles and deployment readiness activities, as required
  • Conduct on-site and remote engagement with terminals and business teams to validate processes and gather feedback
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders on status, risks, and upcoming changes

Education

  • Post secondary education is preferred
  • Experience with Change Management Methodology (Certificate is an asset)
  • Experience with Project Management (PMP designation is an asset)

Experience

  • Bilingualism (French and English) is a preferred asset
  • 2-5 years of Operational or Corporate experience
  • 2-5 years of experience in the deployment of processes or technologies to frontline, management and business teams
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI) is strongly preferred
  • Self-directed, motivated and able to work independently and in team environment
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS office suite of products (Excel, Word, Power Point)
  • Strong communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
  • Must be able to address time sensitive demands on a continuous basis. Support is sometimes required at off-hours for release validation, issues affecting Operations, and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to work remote connectivity is required
  • Ability to travel to operational sites across the network (travel requirements will vary based on project needs)

Language Requirement: Proficiency in English is required for this position due to the frequent communications that must be conducted in English with various stakeholders. This requirement is justified by the nature of the responsibilities and operational needs.
