Site description : Baycrest is an academic health sciences centre providing a continuum of care for older adults, including independent living, assisted living, long-term care and a post-acute hospital specializing in the care of older adults all within one campus.

Job Description : In this key role, you will oversee a state of the art healthcare Control Centre. Your role will include the following :

• Monitor and operate numerous systems including, access control, CCTV, fire and life safety.
• Make emergency overhead announcements
• Answer Telephones and dispatch calls
• Assist in tracking and deployment of security staff
• Handle a variety of dispatch duties including incident call taking.
• Liaise with visitors, clients and staff
• Manage Lost & Found
• Manage the issuance and return of facility keys and ID / Access cards
• Issue Visitor and Contractor badges
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent deportment, customer service and presentable - Public facing / front facing position
• Working knowledge of CCTV, access control systems
• Experience in a supervisory role and dispatching preferred

Education Requirements (All)

High School Diploma / GED

Certification Requirements (All)

First Aid, CPR Level C

Minimum 1 Year of Dispatch or Scheduling Experience

Minimum of 1 year security experience

Police Foundations Diploma / Law and Justice Studies Degree

COVID Double Vaccinated
