This is an exciting opportunity for a professional eager to modernize financial systems, leverage technology for insights, and lead a dedicated team in a dynamic environment.
This role offers the chance to be a key business partner, enabling data-driven decisions and significantly contributing to the company's strategic and operational success. You will play a crucial role in enhancing financial clarity and driving automation within a company committed to growth and modernization.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare financial statements for leadership and conduct benchmarking.
  • Utilize Sage Intelligence for comprehensive financial reporting and dashboarding.
  • Manage the implementation and utilization of Yardi for property accounting and management.
  • Create detailed portfolio reports to provide key insights.
  • Lead and manage a team of approximately six individuals, fostering their professional growth.
  • Collaborate daily with accounting managers and the compliance team.
  • Drive the modernization and automation of financial systems and reporting processes.
  • Contribute to strategic and operational discussions by providing timely financial insights.
Qualifications:
  • Seasoned Property Accountant or SFA (managing property accounting) who would like to move up to the manager role or a new manager who would like to undertake the responsibilities and manage a large team.
  • CPA designation is preferred but not required; candidates working towards their CPA or demonstrating strong drive and know-how are encouraged to apply.
  • Direct experience with real estate property accounting is REQUIRED.
  • Proficiency with financial systems, specifically Sage Intelligence, for analysis and ad hoc reporting.
  • Eagerness to engage with and leverage financial systems for reporting and insights.
  • Strong management skills with the ability to lead and develop a team.
