Job description
Business Development Manager

Territory - GTA

Our client is a distributor of security products. They consider themselves a top solutions provider in this field and are looking for a Business Development Manager to cover GTA.

This role involves identifying new business opportunities, fostering relationships with stakeholders, and growing the market presence within the assigned region.

Responsibilities
• Prospect, cold call, develop and close new business - Locksmith Institutions, Door manufacturers, etc.
• Manage existing relationships - RFPs, Bids, etc.
• Maintain a strong sales funnel with a focus on activity to ensure sales targets and goals are met.
• Familiarizing oneself with market conditions, industry, and competitor standards
• Participate and collaborate with the sales team for ongoing efforts to meet the organization's business objectives
• Present product information regarding features, benefits, and new product/service offerings to customers

Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years in a B2B sales role ideally in Hardware security products
• Knowledge of the industry including key players, market trends, and regulations
• Post-secondary, ideally a Bachelor’s degree in Business, or a related field
• Knowlede of Building codes, building materials, etc.
• A self-starter who is results-driven, competitive, professional, and a team player
• Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office and other related programs
• Solid track record of sales results
