This Position reports to:

Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to conduct testing and verification activities for assignments of systems, subsystems, or products effectively and cost-efficiently. Each day, you will provide technical support during the installation of test objects in the test area. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing project test documentation.
This role is contributing to the AUEN Service team - Software Products Development in Canada. Main stakeholders are Software Products Service team.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Executing testing according to schedule.
- Making risk assessments to assure safe and cybersecure systems of work and taking appropriate actions.
- Ensuring all applicable requirements, maintains test reports and certificates that prove compliance with required and applicable standards, market, or regulatory requirements in line with customer specifications, legal, or ABB internal requirements.
- Maintaining a network of engineering professionals and sharing best practices across different projects.

Qualifications for the role
- You enjoy working with automation software development, programming and testing for the energy industries automation systems market.
- You have 1 - 2 years of experience in software development and testing.
- Highly adept in VB,C++,C# programming. CI/CD as well as OPC and networking knowledge would be an asset.
- You are passionate about working on a team in a developing environment.
- Degree, Diploma or experience in computer programming and software development and testing.
- You are at ease communicating in English and are able to work in Canada.
