Adecco is currently hiring a Business Development Representative for a full-time, hybrid opportunity based in Stoney Creek, ON. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with strong experience in sales, client relationship management, and proposal development within technical or infrastructure-related industries.
As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building long-term client relationships, and driving revenue growth. You will play a key role in developing sales strategies, managing the pipeline, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions to clients.
- Pay Rate: $90,000 - $100,000/year
- Location: Stoney Creek, ON (Hybrid - 3 days in office)
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
- Contract: Permanent

Responsibilities- Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with company growth objectives
- Identify, research, and pursue new business opportunities within targeted markets and sectors
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and key stakeholders
- Manage the full sales cycle including lead generation, qualification, proposal development, and closing
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to prospective and existing clients
- Collaborate with technical, marketing, and internal teams to develop customized proposals and solutions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and sales activities within CRM systems
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to inform sales strategies
- Negotiate contracts and agreements while ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, pipeline activity, and revenue forecasts
Requirements- Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada
- 5-10 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field (experience in infrastructure, environmental, engineering, or similar industries is an asset)
- Post-secondary education in Business, Engineering, Environmental Studies, Planning, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
- Proven track record of generating leads, developing pipelines, and closing deals
- Strong experience in proposal writing, contract negotiation, and client presentations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and CRM systems
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and driven to exceed targets
- Valid driver's license with the ability to travel occasionally within Ontario
