Job description

Are you looking to play a key role in the growth of a manufacturing company recognized for its expertise and product quality?

Mailhot Industries, a leading manufacturer of hydraulic cylinders, is now part of the WIN Division (Wipro Infrastructure Engineering) of Wipro Enterprises, a global organization with operations across multiple industries worldwide.

To support our continued growth in the U.S. market, we are seeking a Regional Sales Manager who will actively contribute to business development efforts and the cultivation of long-term customer relationships. Ideally based in Texas or elsewhere within the Central United States, you will be responsible for driving sales growth across a territory primarily covering the Great Plains and Midwest regions.

This role requires frequent travel throughout the territory to develop new business opportunities and support existing customers. Reporting to the Sales Director, the successful candidate will work closely with sales, customer service, engineering, and operations teams located across the United States, as well as with our corporate headquarters in Saint-Jacques, Quebec, Canada.

Why Join Mailhot?

  • Well-established and growing company;
  • Industry-leading products recognized for their quality and reliability throughout North America;
  • Remote, home-based position;
  • Vehicle allowance;
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance;
  • Retirement savings plan with employer contributions;
  • Competitive compensation package including base salary and performance-based commission program;
  • Opportunity to make a direct impact on the company's growth within the U.S. market;
  • High level of autonomy in managing your territory;
  • Experienced and collaborative team environment;
  • A culture that values individual contributions and empowers employees to make a meaningful difference;
  • Career advancement opportunities within a global organization;
  • Strong shared values: Customer Success, Respect, Global Responsibility, and Integrity.

Your Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within your assigned territory;
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers;
  • Maintain an active presence with manufacturers, distributors, and strategic business partners;
  • Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions;
  • Prepare and present commercial proposals and quotations;
  • Conduct regular customer visits and participate in industry trade shows and events;
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams in Canada, the United States, Mexico, and our parent company in India to ensure exceptional customer service;
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and emerging industry needs;
  • Achieve territory sales and profitability objectives.

What Will Set You Apart

  • Experience selling technical, industrial, or hydraulic products;
  • Strong understanding of hydraulic applications or heavy equipment markets;
  • Experience managing a large geographic territory and developing new markets;
  • Ability to understand technical customer requirements and propose value-added solutions;
  • Experience working in a North American manufacturing environment;
  • Proven ability to quickly establish trusted business relationships and identify growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or B2B sales within manufacturing, industrial, or technical sectors;
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills;
  • Highly self-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities;
  • Ability to travel regularly throughout the Central United States, including Texas and key Midwest and Great Plains states such as Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, Illinois, Indiana, and surrounding areas.
