Forsite Consultants Ltd. is a leading provider of integrated forest land development and management services. Our staff are industry leaders in forestry, technology, analytics, strategic planning, resource and land management / stewardship and professional forestry. We are a company that is committed to innovation and is constantly growing with clients across North America and abroad in multiple sectors. We are looking for candidates interested in a challenging entry level Forest Technician position. Four- or eight-month terms are available in 2026.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Student forestry staff will be responsible for providing technical support to project teams in all aspects of timber development and silviculture operations. Multiphase timber development includes timber reconnaissance, field engineering, riparian and ecological assessments, timber cruising, and GPS traversing. Silviculture services include surveys, prescription development, planting supervision, and silviculture management.

Must have :
- A professional, friendly and courteous manner, being service & team oriented.

- A passion for forestry and working outdoors as this is field job.
- Preference given to candidates with a valid drivers license with a clean abstract.
