Equipment Financing Business Development Manager

Equipment financing expertise and financial analysis define this Business Development Manager position with National Bank. Work locations include Kamloops, Kelowna, and Prince George.

As part of the Equipment Financing team, you support Canadian businesses in equipment intensive industries. Build client relationships, structure financing solutions, and contribute to growth through leasing, credit recommendations, and business development. The role includes collaboration with internal partners and regular territory travel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Grow equipment loans and leases throughout your assigned territory
• Build relationships with clients and equipment industry referral partners
• Review financial statements and recommend credit for complex transactions
• Manage credit and leasing applications, documentation, and approvals
• Identify market opportunities and improve financing processes

Requirements:

• University certificate and five years financial services sales experience
• Or bachelor’s degree with financing or business development experience
• Experience in equipment financing, leasing, or credit based sales
• Ability to analyze statements and structure credit recommendations
• Willingness to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory
