Software Development Manager, Payments

Responsibilities
- Build a new Payments Enablement team from the ground up, driving higher enablement and activation rates for Clio Payments.
- Remain deeply hands‑on : step in on production‑level, high technical impact work when needed.
- Collaborate with your team on designing technical solutions and giving strong feedback on code reviews and architecture documents.
- Actively contribute code, participate in code reviews, and ship code as a contributor.
- Hold regular 1 : 1 meetings with direct reports to support their career growth and development goals.
- Participate in hiring to grow the engineering team at Clio.
- Review code contributed by team members or other Clio developers seeking expertise on given technologies or patterns.
Qualifications
Benefits & Compensation
Competitive, equitable salary with top‑tier health benefits, dental, and vision insurance. Hybrid work environment; expectation for local Clions to be in office min. twice per week. Flexible time off policy with encouraged 20 days off per year. $2000 annual counseling benefit. RRSP matching and RESP contribution. Clioversary recognition program with special acknowledgement at 3, 5, 7, and 10 years.
Expected salary range : $172,000 to $215,000 to $258,000 CAD. Salary bands are designed to reflect skills and experience needed for the position.
