Location : You will be based in our Toronto office and will work in a hybrid model.

Reporting Relationship : You will report to the Manager, Software Development and Architecture.

Moneris is looking for a Software Development Manager who is passionate about development, doing it right and having fun. This role will serve as a technical leader for Moneris Go Retail product , driving roadmap delivery and integration.

Your Moneris Career - What you'll do

• Lead a best-in-class engineering team
• Drive the architecture, development and delivery of high-quality, high-security, high-availability solutions
• Champion engineering best practices (such as shift left testing) and continuous improvement
• Provide hands‑on coaching to the team at an architectural and code‑review level
• Own roadmap delivery, facilitate scrum ceremonies, and ensure team integration
• Deliver on all technical commitments in the product roadmap
• Support day‑to‑day scrum team ceremonies, including managing tech backlog, managing resourcing of developers, managing software releases
• Lead team to deliver high quality features and enhancements to the product, maintaining strong test coverage, secure infrastructure and clean code practices
