Job descriptionAre friendly, polite, patient, courteous, and quick to provide solutions Are thorough and accurate, especially when it comes to managing cash Understand and enjoy horse racing and betting Enjoy working with a team, can juggle multiple tasks, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment Are a night owl and benefit from working flexible hours, evenings, and weekends Process pari‑mutuel transactions Balance and reconcile a cash float, provide monetary change to guests Count and verify opening and closing floats for all coin, currency, and marketing items Count and physically lay out cash according to established company policies and procedures Record transactions in software and verify printed reports Maintain current knowledge of products, events, and promotions Minimum 6 months of cash handling experience Ability to add and multiply; balance floats / spreadsheets Ability to pull, lift, and carry objects such as a cashier tray Good manual dexterity to accurately handle cash and tickets Knowledge of horse racing and pari‑mutuel betting is an asset

Job Type : Temporary Full-Time.
Hourly Wage : $18.18 / hr.
As a Racebook Representative, you will sell and process betting transactions using a horserace betting system. You will meet guests with a keen interest in horse racing and help them understand how to win, place or show.
