Bilingual Program Manager School Breakfast Program

We are looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented, highly organized individual to lead the School Breakfast Program team of Community Development Coordinators.

The Program Manager reports to the Director of Program Operations and works collaboratively with all ONFE staff.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop program resources, standard operating procedures and administrative processes to optimize program operations.
  • Support recruitment and provide leadership and oversight to assigned resources.
  • Assist in defining program priorities, setting goals, and establishing measurable outcomes.
  • Collaborate on program planning, budgeting, program implementation, and evaluation processes.
  • Develop and conduct surveys with key partners and analyze results.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions for schools.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
  • Foster a culture of learning, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Promote the organizations values of integrity, equity, learning and collaboration

Required Skills / Experience :

  • Highly adaptable and proactive in driving change and innovation.
  • Strong ability to collaborate and maintain positive partnerships.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a constructive and creative approach.
  • Proven leadership and mentorship skills with the ability to inspire and guide teams.
  • Strong organization and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong computer aptitude and proficiency. Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and project management tools.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices would be an asset.
  • Experience in school-nutrition related programs or public health initiatives an asset.
  • Qualifications :

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Social Sciences, Public Health, Education, Nutrition, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in social sciences, nutrition, education, health promotion or related field.
  • 3-5 years experience in supervisory or leadership role.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in program management.
  • Satisfactory Police Record Check in alignment with ONFEs Conditions of Employment Policy.
  • Drivers license, and access to a reliable motor vehicle with insurance coverage that has no policy restrictions for work related driving.
  • Fluency in English and French (oral and written) and fluency in other languages.
  • Hybrid Work :

    ONFE offers a hybrid work environment, which requires work both in the office and remote.

    This is a permanent full-time position. The annualized salary range is $75,000-$90,000. ONFE offers a competitive salary, benefit package including RSP matching.

    Nous sommes la recherche dune personne motive, minutieuse, polyvalente et dote dun grand sens de lorganisation pour prendre la tte de lquipe de coordonnateurs en dveloppement communautaire du Programme des petits djeuners en milieu scolaire.

    Le ou la gestionnaire du programme dpend de la directrice responsable du fonctionnement du programme, et travaille en collaboration avec le personnel du ROPE.

    Principales responsabilits

  • Mettre au point les ressources du programme, les procdures oprationnelles standard et les processus administratifs qui permettront doptimiser le fonctionnement du programme.
  • Soutenir le recrutement et superviser les ressources attribues.
  • Contribuer dfinir les priorits du programme, fixer des objectifs et tablir des rsultats.
  • Collaborer la planification, la budgtisation, la mise en uvre et lvaluation du programme.
  • laborer et mener des enqutes auprs des principales parties prenantes.
  • Mettre au point et dispenser des sances de formation pour les coles.
  • Veiller au respect des rglementations pertinentes, des exigences lgales et des normes thiques.
  • Favoriser une culture de lapprentissage, de linnovation et de lamlioration continue.
  • Promouvoir les valeurs dintgrit, dquit, dapprentissage et de collaboration propres lorganisation.

  • Diplme dtudes postsecondaires en sciences sociales, sant publique, ducation, nutrition, ou dans un domaine connexe.
  • Au moins 5ans dexprience en sciences sociales, nutrition, ducation, promotion de la sant, ou dans un domaine connexe.
  • 3 5ans dexprience dans un poste de supervision ou de direction.
  • Au moins 2ans dexprience en gestion de programme.
  • Vrification policire des antcdents judiciaires satisfaisante, conformment la politique et aux conditions demploi du ROPE.
  • Permis de conduire et accs un vhicule moteur fiable avec une couverture dassurance sans restriction relative la conduite dans le contexte professionnel.
  • Matrise de langlais et du franais (oral et crit) et matrise dautres langues.
  • Formule de travail hybride

    Le ROPE propose une formule de travail hybride, en vertu de laquelle le personnel travaille distance et au bureau.

    Il sagit dun temps plein poste permanent. Le salaire annuel varie entre 75000$ et 90000$. Le ROPE offre un salaire et des avantages sociaux concurrentiels, y compris la contrepartie dun REER.
