Randstad is looking to support internationally trained skilled trade workers in gaining their Red Seal Accreditation.
We will be assisting Newcomers in gaining recognition for their trades experience and preparing them to write their Red Seal Exam.
Our goal is to validate the tradespersons expertise and increase employability. We will provide you with the greatest chance for mobility across Canada, hoping to lead you to the highest wages.
Advantages
This program provides funding to support trade-specific training and Red Seal exam preparation, language assessments and upgrading, application and exam fees, textbooks, construction language for newcomers’ resources, assistance with application submission and exam booking.
This program is designed to be flexible, with minimal to no time away from work required. The duration may vary depending on the specific region.
Responsibilities
We are looking to support new citizens, permanent or temporary residents, and or refugees. (who have been in Canada for less than 10 years)
We are looking for participants who have experience / education in the trades : Millwright, Lather, Welder or Carpenter!
Qualifications
We will need you to provide proof of :
- being in Canada for less than 10 years
- legally entitlement of working and living in Canada
- status : temporary or permanent resident, Canadian citizen, or refugee
- hold an internationally obtained post-secondary degree, diploma, or trades related certification (hours verification, educational records, etc.)
- being an internationally educated tradesperson (IET) status, meaning having proof of prior education outside of Canada.
