About Our Client
Our client is sourcing a Director of Finance for a 3-month contract.

About the Opportunity

• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements and management reporting packages on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Analyze financial performance, cash flow trends, and key operating metrics, providing insights and recommendations to management.
• Coordinate with finance teams across multiple business units to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Support treasury functions, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, banking relationships, and lender reporting requirements.
• Lead external audit and review engagements and act as the primary liaison with auditors and other external stakeholders.
• Assist with corporate tax compliance, provisions, indirect tax filings, and audit support activities.
• Participate in annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes while providing analytical support to business leaders.
• Support acquisition, integration, divestiture, and other corporate development activities as required.
• Assist with accounting policy implementation, financial reporting framework initiatives, and technical accounting matters.
• Contribute to finance transformation projects, process improvements, and financial systems enhancements.
• Review and assess accounting treatments for complex transactions and business initiatives.
• Provide mentorship and oversight to junior finance team members.

• CPA designation or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• Progressive experience in financial reporting, consolidation, budgeting, treasury, and business partnering.
• Strong understanding of corporate accounting and financial reporting standards.
• Experience working within multi-entity or complex organizational structures.
• Exposure to financial systems implementations, upgrades, or data migration projects is considered an asset.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and evolving environment.
