About the Opportunity

• Record cash receipts and general deposit entries and EFTs.
• Prepare cheques for deposit.
• Prepare daily bank transaction entries.
• Prepare wire authorization requests and obtaining approvals.
• NSF/ Stop payment vouchers and monitoring issued cheques to the bank.
• Retrieve back up to bank regarding retail and event sales and credit card chargebacks.
• Communicate with the bank to obtain appropriate backup and prevent future chargebacks.
• Participate in special projects and perform other related assignments as requested.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
• Support merchant services including creation and maintenance of Merchand IDs
• Prepare ticketing vouchers
• Prepare requisitions and other paperwork related to debt
• Coordinate monthly team schedule of approvers
• Investigate unclaimed deposits

About You

• Ability to adhere to strict deadlines and set priorities as required
• 3-5 years of relevant treasury, and accounting experience
• Knowledge of Oracle is a strong asset, advanced Excel skills are required
• An ongoing awareness and responsiveness to client satisfaction
• Desire to learn and to take on new responsibilities
• Proven ability to listen, understand and communicate effectively
• Ability to work well both in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent written, oral and electronic communication skills

Pay Range
$30– $33 per hour
