Overview
We are seeking a reliable, energetic, and caring individual to look after our two children (ages 6 and 8) after school. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys engaging with kids, can manage a simple evening routine, and is comfortable with local walking.
Responsibilities
School Pick-up : Walk to the local school (walking distance from our home) to collect the children at 2 : 00 PM.
Afternoon Care : Supervise play, assist with any light homework, and provide a fun, safe environment.
Meal Prep : Prepare a healthy after-school snack and cook a simple, nutritious dinner for the children.
Evening Routine : Manage the transition to the evening until the parents return home at 8 : 00 PM.
Requirements
Experience working with school-aged children.
Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
First Aid / CPR certification is an asset.
Ability to provide a clear Vulnerable Sector Check (Police Background Check).
Reliable and punctual.
Salary $21 and above Per hour (based on experience).
