  • Work with team members on initial transaction analysis and deal structuring.
  • Manage and review credit applications before submission to Credit Risk Management to ensure they meet the highest standards of financial analysis, credit structuring and risk identification & mitigation, while ensuring that internal policies are adhered to.
  • Occasionally author credit applications for the most complex transactions.
  • Provide assistance to the underwriting team with the presentation of their credit applications and challenge team members to think beyond the surface to develop financing scenarios that meet both client needs and the Bank's risk criteria.
  • Coordinate and lead discussions with Credit Risk Management.
  • Manage and monitor the loan portfolio to ensure alignment with the Bank’s established parameters.
  • Work with adjacent teams to ensure required conditions are met prior to funding, ensuring a positive working relationship is maintained at all times.

Your Team

Within the Commercial and Private Banking 1859 sector, you are part of a team of professionals supporting commercial clients. In addition, you are surrounded by an entire ecosystem of experts to help you offer the best possible solutions to customers.

Reporting to the RVP & Market Lead, Vancouver Island District, the position is based in Victoria, BC.

Our learning-by-doing training programs enable you to master your job. Access to colleagues with different expertise, experience, and profiles will enrich your development in every way.
