A typical day would involve :

• Strategic Oversight Oversee the strategic design, development, and implementation of learning programs and tactics aligned with the Vancity's strategic objectives.Act as a strategic consultant to leadership at all levels, understanding organizational priorities and translating them into actionable learning solutions.
• Team Leadership Lead, coach, and develop a team of Learning & Development (L&D) professionals to deliver high-impact learning initiatives.Manage relationships with external L&D vendors to meet organizational needs and maintain a high standard of delivery.
• Program & Change Management Define budget requirements for the learning function and monitor / report training costs to achieve content objectives while adhering to financial constraints.Leverage expertise in modern learning methodologies (e.g., human-centered design, agile delivery) and technology to create innovative, forward-thinking learning solutions.Ensure change management principles are considered in promoting learning initiatives and building a culture of continuous learning.
• Stakeholder Engagement Partner with stakeholders across the organization to embed learning practices, promote adoption, and create space for sustainment of learning programs.Build trust and influence with leaders to identify and address key development opportunities aligned with the organization's strategic goals.
• Measurement & Evaluation Establish and report on metrics to measure the effectiveness and impact of learning programs.Analyze insights to refine and improve strategies, ensuring alignment with current and future business needs.

The salary range for this role is $91,000 to $136,400 annually. Base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant qualifications, skills, previous experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards package, employees may also be eligible for our annual incentive program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
