Prevost , a division of Volvo Group Canada Inc., is currently looking for a Warehouse Clerk for its Richmond, BC Service Center.
What awaits you :
Our Warehouse Clerk has a key role in the Volvo Group | Prevost Division by performing all functions relating to the receipt, storage, and shipping of factory source parts, accessories, and related material.
Responsibilities :
- Receive incoming orders, inspect for damaged or missing components.
- Receive, document, and store inbound shipments in a timely and efficient manner.
- Enter parts into inventory locations and weekly cycle counts.
- Retrieve back-ordered items from inbound shipments.
- Inspection of warehouse equipment.
- Picking parts for technicians, heavy duty parts experience would be an asset.
- Inter-branch deliveries with rare parts pick-ups within Vancouver and the surrounding area.
- Working both locations with staggered days and times, typically Monday to Friday.
- Work at either location, both in Richmond area.
- Building maintenance- shop cleaning, recycling of scrap materials, and empty trash.
- Able to work in adverse climate conditions.
- General warehouse maintenance and housekeeping.
- Assist employees in other job areas when necessary.
- Various other tasks as assigned.
