The Role: Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the Recruitment Specialist plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of talent at Canada’s National Ballet School (NBS).

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to both the short- and long-term HR strategy, helping to build an inclusive, high-performing, and values-driven workplace.

In this role, the Recruitment Specialist will lead and influence the design, implementation, and ongoing evolution of a comprehensive recruitment and retention strategy - one that attracts exceptional and diverse talent, supports meaningful development and career growth, and fosters a strong sense of belonging and engagement across the organization.

The work will have a direct impact on the candidate and employee experience and the continued success of NBS.

An innovative, forward-thinking mindset; you’re always looking for ways to improve and evolve processes Strong presentation, communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to engage and connect with others A post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources (CHRP/TMP designation is a welcome bonus!) 2-3 years of HR experience, with a strong focus on recruitment and talent management Solid understanding of HR best practices, including employment and human rights legislation A high level of discretion and sound judgement, paired with cultural competency and racial literacy Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with ease Adaptability and versatility; you’re energized by a role that includes a variety of responsibilities and projects Experience with HRIS/Payroll systems, Qualtrics, and Canva (or the ability to learn quickly!) Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams) Compensation: Salary Range: $50,000 - 56,000 annually , commensurate with experience and aligned with internal equity.
