Roles and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director, Category Management & Merchandising, the Replenishment Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring optimal inventory levels across our retail locations. This position manages the procurement and distribution of products by creating and uploading purchase orders through provincial wholesalers, coordinating ordering cycles, and collaborating with various teams to maintain store readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels across multiple retail locations, utilizing data analysis to predict and address replenishment needs.
  • Purchase Order Management: Create and upload purchase orders (POs) through provincial cannabis wholesalers (e.g., OCS, BC LDB, AGLC) according to replenishment needs.
  • Wholesaler Coordination: Manage ordering cycles and submission deadlines for each provincial distributor, ensuring timely and accurate replenishment.
  • Collaboration: Partner with retail operations, merchandising, and logistics teams to support product availability and store readiness.
  • Issue Resolution: Address discrepancies or delays in wholesaler shipments, working with provincial bodies and internal stakeholders to resolve issues.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience in inventory planning, supply chain, or replenishment (preferably in retail or regulated industries).
  • Familiarity with cannabis industry regulations (federal and provincial).
  • Strong skills in Excel, including data analysis and reporting.
  • Data-driven mindset with excellent attention to detail.
  • Positive, "can-do" attitude with strong problem-solving skills.
