About This Opportunity
The Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring the development, implementation, and maintenance of the necessary processes as part of an integrated management system (IMS) for quality, food safety, health and safety and the environment. The Compliance Specialist is also responsible for creating and managing the training program for this purpose, including organizing and delivering training plans, integrating the use of competency matrices, and monitoring training. The Compliance Specialist will bridge the gap between internal and external staff to support improvements to IMS and training systems, as well as ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate standards.
Responsibilities
Ensure the development, implementation, and maintenance of processes for IMS.
Organize and deliver training plans, and create competency matrices.
Manage the internal audit program, the training program, management evaluation, change management, and the follow-up of corrective and preventive measures.
Manage the documentation system and its implementation, as well as the revision of procedures.
Deploy and take advantage of the LMS training tool.
Hold, conduct, support and training meetings on the documentation, deployment, maintenance and improvement of the management system.
Qualifications
- Possess a college diploma or a completed bachelor's degree.
- Have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in training, auditing, and management in the consumer goods sector.
- Knowledge of FSSC22000, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, SFCI requirements.
- Bilingual (French and English) required.
- Experience and certification/training in previous ISO standards (highly preferred).
- Experience in managing training requirements, organizing and delivering training plans, and developing competency matrices in a manufacturing environment.
- Master the tools of the Microsoft Office suite and database management.
- Experienced at initiating the SOP/ SSOP for manufacturing plants.
