We are seeking an experienced HR Specialist for a direct hire opportunity in Burlington/ Hamilton, ON. This role is ideal for a hands-on human resources professional who enjoys supporting the full employee lifecycle, building strong employee relationships, and contributing to effective HR programs in a fast-paced environment.
The HR Specialist will play a key role in recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, HR administration, and payroll support. This opportunity offers exposure to HR systems, practical HR projects, and ongoing professional development. Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard new employees while supporting a positive candidate and employee experience.
- Maintain accurate HR records, employee files, policies, and documentation in accordance with company standards.
- Provide payroll support and assist with HR administration, reporting, and system updates.
- Support employee relations matters by responding to inquiries, helping resolve issues, and promoting consistent HR practices.
- Assist with compliance activities, HR programs, policy updates, and workplace initiatives.
- Contribute to HR projects that improve processes, employee engagement, and overall organizational effectiveness.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $65,000 to $75,000 per year.
