What you get to do every day

- Ensure the processing of payments

- Update customer files to ensure data integrity

- Maintain quality customer service and a positive company image by resolving customer account inquiries

- Manage all billing and reporting activities in line with deadlines

- Manage inbound and outbound collections calls and correspondence

- Ensure bankruptcy filings are processed in the correct manner when received

- Pinpoint delinquent customer accounts through various means, e.g. written correspondence, phone contact, skip-tracing, and making arrangements for payment

- Comply with all rules and regulations established by the Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act

- Log all customer payments to the correct reports

Job Requirements:
- Ability to analyze customer accounts and make decisions based on those analyses

- Comprehensive knowledge of Cash Collections

- Command of Collect Outstanding

- Collection Processes experience

- Experience with consumer collections

- Proficiency in Collecting Payments

- Adeptness in Collector

- 2+ years of prior high volume collections experience

- Prior experience working with collections/accounting software

- Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills

- AA or BS/BA in Accounting preferred
