Job description

Randstad Operational is currently seeking four (4) motivated and reliable Forklift Operators (Dock Workers) to join our client's dynamic team in Woodstock, Ontario. These temporary, ongoing positions offer full-time hours (40 hours per week) on a stable afternoon shift from Monday to Friday, 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm. As a Forklift Operator (Dock Worker), you will play a critical role in the daily distribution and warehousing operations. Working directly on the shipping and receiving docks, you will utilize your material handling skills to safely transport products, stage shipments, and maintain an organized inventory layout. This role requires an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about manufacturing & logistics efficiency. Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and move materials throughout the shipping and receiving docks.
• Stage, sort, and organize incoming and outgoing freight within a fast-paced manufacturing & logistics environment.
• Verify product counts, scan inventory using RF scanners, and document shipping discrepancies as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse dock to ensure strict adherence to safety standards.
• Wrap, palletize, and secure heavy loads to prevent damage during transit and warehouse movement.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional warehouse teams to meet daily shipping and production deadlines.
• Conduct pre-operational safety inspections on forklifts and material handling equipment prior to every shift.

Qualifications
• Proven experience and high proficiency in operating industrial forklifts within a fast-paced dock setting.
• Strong spatial awareness and physical coordination required to navigate tight warehouse corridors and docks safely.
• Excellent attention to detail for verifying inventory
