About The Role
The Sales Development Representative reports to the Sales Manager of Pipe and Precast Chilliwack and supports the team’s commitment to safety excellence and delivering industry-leading service and solutions. This role focuses on strengthening customer relationships and driving local growth of sustainable products through active engagement with customers and stakeholders, using Salesforce CRM as a core tool.
Under the guidance of the Sales Manager, the Sales Development Representative supports the Commercial Sales Team by gathering and organizing project information, reviewing basic construction documents, compiling bid packages, and capturing market data. This position plays a key role in improving sales effectiveness and advancing eco-source product offerings. The ideal candidate is dynamic, results-driven, experienced in sales, proficient with Salesforce CRM, and passionate about environmentally responsible solutions.
What You’ll Accomplish
- Conduct research to identify potential leads and target accounts.
- Clearly articulate the value proposition and benefits of our offerings.
- Build and nurture relationships with prospects through effective communication.
- Takes responsibilities for marketing, promoting, and selling our range of recycled Eco-source products in both external and internal construction markets.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to promote our sustainable products, aligning with market demand and sustainable goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and providing solutions that align with our eco-friendly product portfolio.
- Act as a subject matter expert on our sustainable eco-source products and offerings.
- Collaborate with our commercial & environment and sustainability teams to provide customer feedback and contribute to the enhancement of sustainable product offerings.
- Utilize Salesforce CRM to gather, analyze, and interpret market data.
- Take ownership of Salesforce CRM to streamline sales processes, enhance data accuracy, and maximize efficiency.
- Generate regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and CRM utilization, providing insights for continuous improvement.
- Records customer information, pricing details, and project forecasts in Salesforce.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify market trends, customer preferences, and competitive intelligence.
- Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
What We’re Looking For
Education
Recent graduate from university / college with business management degree / diploma with one to three years of industry experience.
Field of Study Preferred
Business, Engineering, HR, or related field.
Required Work Experience
0-2 years of relevant experience.
Required Technical Skills
Knowledge of Salesforce CRM and its applications in optimizing sales process an advantage.
Travel Requirements
0-10%
