Position Overview


At Maria Pecorella’s Desjardins Insurance Agency, we build strong, lasting relationships by ensuring clients feel confident and supported in their insurance and financial protection. We are looking for a Client Relationship & Business Development Associate to work with our existing book of business—reviewing coverage, identifying needs, uncovering sales opportunities, and supporting clients through key life events.

Responsibilities

• Proactively reach out to existing clients to complete account reviews and identify new opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships through personalized communication and follow‑up.
• Recommend tailored insurance solutions across home, auto, life, health, and financial services.
• Educate clients on product options and assist with digital tools and online account setup.
• Accurately document all client interactions and recommendations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and positive client experience.

Qualifications

• Recent college or university graduates are encouraged to apply.
• 3-5 years of customer service or sales experience is an asset.
• Second‑language communication skills are valued.
• Strong communication, listening, and relationship‑building abilities.
• Must be able to obtain required insurance licenses (if not already licensed).
• Comfortable engaging clients by phone, email, and virtual platforms.
