About Us

Ideal Siding is a fast-growing exterior renovation franchise operating across Canada and the United States. Through our expanding franchise network, we provide high-quality siding and exterior renovation solutions while supporting franchisees with systems, marketing, training, and growth initiatives.

We are looking for a driven, relationship-focused Business Development Manager to help grow our franchise network through strategic partnerships, vendor programs, revenue-generating initiatives, and industry relationships.

Position Overview

This role will focus on developing relationships with manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, service providers, software vendors, financing partners, and other industry stakeholders. The goal is to build scalable programs that support franchisee growth, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen the Ideal Siding brand.

Key areas of focus include preferred vendor programs, referral agreements, sponsorships, rebate programs, lead generation partnerships, approved material programs, training initiatives, and negotiated franchisee pricing.

Success in this role will be measured by partnership growth, franchisee participation, revenue generated through partner programs, qualified lead generation, and overall value created for the franchise network.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Partnership Development

  • Identify and develop relationships with manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, and service providers in the siding and exterior renovation industry.
  • Build preferred vendor and approved material programs for franchisees.
  • Negotiate partnership agreements, referral arrangements, sponsorships, rebates, and franchisee discount programs.
  • Maintain strong long-term relationships with partners that support franchisee growth and operational efficiency.
Revenue Generation & Partner Programs

  • Develop partnerships that generate additional revenue through rebates, referrals, sponsorships, marketing programs, and lead generation initiatives.
  • Create partner programs that bring qualified customer and project leads to franchisees.
  • Identify scalable opportunities that increase franchisee sales activity and strengthen brand presence.
  • Coordinate vendor participation in franchise-wide programs, sponsorships, and training initiatives.
  • Support purchasing advantages and negotiated pricing programs across the network.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and create value for both franchisees and the franchisor.
Franchisee Support & Relationship Management

  • Work with franchisees to understand their operational needs and identify partnership opportunities.
  • Support franchisee onboarding and adoption of approved vendors and partner programs.
  • Gather feedback from franchisees on products, suppliers, vendors, and services.
  • Track partner communications, agreements, performance, and program participation.
  • Represent Ideal Siding at trade shows, conferences, networking events, and supplier meetings.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 3 to 5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, account management, B2B sales, or a related role.
  • Experience in construction, renovation, franchising, building materials, or related industries is an asset.
  • Strong networking, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to generate leads, build partnerships, and support revenue growth.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Experience using CRM tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with digital prospecting tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator is an asset.
  • Willingness to travel within Canada and the United States as needed.

What We Offer

  • Competitive base salary plus performance-based bonuses.
  • Flexible remote work environment.
  • Opportunity to work directly with franchise leadership.
  • Career growth within a rapidly expanding North American franchise network.
  • Meaningful impact on franchisee growth, partner strategy, and long-term business development.

Flexible work from home options available.
