Acting as the first point-of-contact to all guests and callers, theAdministrative Associateis responsible forgreeting guests, answering/routing phone calls and providing general administrative support, as needed.

A day inthe life-

  • Greeting and welcoming guests/clients, in person or over the telephone; answering and referring inquiries

  • Directing visitors bymaintainingemployee and department directories; giving instructions

  • Sorting and forwarding incoming faxes and emails received toappropriate departments

  • Handling incoming and outgoing couriers (including regular mail); open, stamp,sort,and label for distribution

  • Maintaining stock and availability of office supplies by ordering asrequired

  • Maintaining a safe and clean reception area bycomplying withprocedures, rules, and regulations

  • Providing supporton general administrative office services andis able torefer Brokers for specializedassistance

What youwillbringto our team-

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

  • Level 1 Insurance License is an asset, but notrequired

  • Secondary School Diploma

  • Minimum of 1 -2 years’ experience within an office and/or administrative capacity

  • Proficiencywith MS Office Suite: Word, Excel,PowerPointand Outlook

Salary Expectations –

The expected salary range for this position is$42,500 to $45,000 and will beimpactedby factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope, and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include extended health benefits, disability insurance, RRSP matching, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses, and commissions for some positions.
