Job Description
Job Title : Controller
The Controller, plays a key leadership role in overseeing financial reporting and accounting operations for a large multi‑brand restaurant division. This position supports senior decision‑makers by delivering accurate financial insights, managing period‑end close processes, leading a team of senior accountants, and driving continuous improvement across systems and workflows. It’s a highly collaborative role that requires strong technical accounting expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple entities in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Highlights
- Financial leadership & reporting : Oversee month‑end and year‑end close, prepare P&Ls and financial reports, manage audits, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely tax filings.
- Team & stakeholder management : Lead and develop a team of three, collaborate with cross‑functional partners, and maintain strong relationships to support operational and strategic decision‑making.
- Process improvement & systems expertise : Identify automation opportunities within the ERP (MS Dynamics 365), manage complex reconciliations, and enhance accounting processes across a multi‑entity structure.
